Paul, Weiss advised General Atlantic in the formation and closing of its inaugural BeyondNetZero fund, a private equity fund that invests in growth companies delivering innovative climate solutions that have the potential to meet and exceed net zero emissions targets, with a focus on decarbonization, energy efficiency, resource conservation and emissions management. Following the fund’s closing, General Atlantic has a total of approximately $3.5 billion in capital to invest in climate solutions. The BeyondNetZero fund is structured as a companion fund investing in climate growth equity companies alongside General Atlantic’s core global growth equity program.
