Paul, Weiss is advising General Atlantic in its strategic partnership with Ollamani, S.A.B., the parent company of Club América, Mexico’s leading soccer team, and Estadio Banorte, Mexico’s largest stadium, among other businesses. Under the terms of the deal, the partnership will be structured through a newly created entity that will own Club América, Estadio Banorte and the land parcels adjacent to the stadium (collectively, Grupo Águilas). Ollamani will retain a 51% controlling stake in Grupo Águilas and Ollamani’s controlling shareholder, Emilio Azcárraga Jean, will serve as executive chairman of Grupo Águilas; General Atlantic will hold a 49% equity stake. 

General Atlantic and Ollamani have also partnered with Kraft Analytics Group to leverage its industry-leading customer data platform alongside proprietary fan experience and strategic consulting expertise. Estadio Banorte, which is currently undergoing comprehensive modernization, is scheduled to host the opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
