C&D Technologies to Acquire Trojan Battery

Paul, Weiss is representing C&D Technologies, Inc., a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, LP, in its acquisition of Trojan Battery Company, LLC from Charlesbank Capital Partners, LLC and other shareholders. The deal will combine two leading global battery manufacturers with complementary portfolios. Financial terms of the transaction, expected to close by the end of the year, were not disclosed.
