Real estate partners Mitchell Berg and Peter Fisch’s latest transactional real estate column, “Priority Issues With Mortgage Loan Modifications,” was published in the October 17 issue of the New York Law Journal. The authors discuss issues involved with modifying a loan secured by a mortgage, including obtaining an existing junior lienholder’s consent, providing notice to future junior lienholders, and title insurance considerations.
