Paul, Weiss’s Litigation Department was featured in The American Lawyer as a finalist for the publication’s biennial “Litigation Department of the Year” award. The article, “With an All-Star Roster and Broadened Horizons, Paul Weiss Is Ready for Any Litigation Battle,” highlights the myriad strengths of the department.

While the magazine notes that Paul, Weiss has had a top-shelf litigation practice for a very long time, “the firm’s recent moves to bring in big-name laterals, open up an appellate and Supreme Court practice and lean harder into Delaware Court of Chancery work have positioned it to be much more than a go-to for the financial industry.”

The article also recognizes the department’s leadership on impactful pro bono litigation. “We activate the bar on critical issues, wherever the chips fall. Voting rights, reproductive freedom, gun control—we led the national bar on each of those issues,” Paul, Weiss chairman Brad Karp notes. “It is something that I am incredibly proud of.”
