Paul, Weiss received six recognitions across various categories in the International Tax Review’s 2023 Americas Tax Awards, which recognize the remarkable achievements and developments by tax professionals throughout the Americas over the past year.
Tax partner Scott Sontag was named “Tax Practice Leader of the Year” in North America, and tax partner Brian Grieve was named a “Tax Rising Star.”
Additionally, the firm won four recognitions alongside co-counsel in the “Impact Deal of the Year” category. ITR highlighted our role in advising Advance in the combination of AT&T Inc.’s WarnerMedia with Discovery, Inc.; Clearlake Capital Group L.P. in its acquisition of Chelsea Football Club; Continental Grain Company in its acquisition of Sanderson Farms, Inc.; and Global Infrastructure Partners, alongside KKR, in its acquisition of CyrusOne Inc.
Winners were announced at an awards ceremony in New York City on September 14.
