Paul, Weiss has been recognized with several awards, including “General Commercial Firm of the Year,” as part of Benchmark Litigation’s annual United States awards program. Litigation partners Kannon Shanmugam and Walter Brown were named “Appellate Litigator of the Year” and “White-Collar Litigator of the Year,” respectively. Additionally, Paul, Weiss received an “Impact Case Award” for winning a landmark appellate victory at the Kentucky Supreme Court on behalf of The Blackstone Group in a $50 billion derivative lawsuit. Paul, Weiss Chairman Brad Karp and litigation partners Andrew Ehrlich, Lorin Reisner and Brette Tannenbaum led the Paul, Weiss team in this matter. A virtual awards ceremony was held on March 31.
