Paul, Weiss litigation partner Karen Dunn, counsel Martha Goodman and associates Erica Spevack and Benjamin Cabranes were recognized by The American Lawyer’s “Litigation Daily” column for winning a crucial pretrial motion on behalf of their clients, eight children who were sexually abused at a synagogue preschool in Washington, D.C., as well as the children’s parents. The D.C. Superior Court denied a motion by the defendant, Washington Hebrew Congregation, seeking to turn over its insurance proceeds for the court to distribute and cancel the trial in the case, which is set to begin March 13.
