Global Competition Review (GCR) once again ranked Paul, Weiss as “highly recommended” in the publication’s 2024 “GCR 100” lists in the New York and Washington, D.C., regions. The annual lists recognize the law firms and economic consultancies doing the most important antitrust work around the world.
GCR highlighted the New York office’s work helping Bard secure a successful jury verdict in a lawsuit brought by AngioDynamics, advising Continental Grain on its joint acquisition, alongside Cargill, of Sanderson Farms, and obtaining the dismissal of monopolization claims on behalf of Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Biosense Webster, among several other major antitrust matters.
GCR also noted the D.C. office’s work advising major companies, including Amazon in two putative consumer class actions challenging its pricing policies, Google in the DOJ’s blockbuster lawsuit that seeks to break up the company’s digital advertising business, and World Wrestling Entertainment in its $21 billion merger with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, among several others.
