Litigation partner Meredith Dearborn was named an Insider “Rising Star of the Courtroom” for 2022. In a short interview with Insider, Meredith discussed her path to becoming a lawyer and her enthusiasm for trial work.
"I love to do trials," Meredith says. "Literally 99% of cases settle or are otherwise resolved before trial. That's not an exaggeration. So there's fewer and fewer opportunities for people who want to be trial lawyers to be on their feet."
Litigation partner Bill Isaacson, a longtime mentor to Meredith, told Insider that she “is achieving what a much more senior lawyer has done because she has the experience and the talent."
