Of counsel in the Real Estate Department, Walter F. Leinhardt has represented both institutions and developers, focusing on real estate investment trusts, acquisitions and dispositions of portfolios of property and sophisticated financing transactions, including securitized mortgage loans.

Mr. Leinhardt served as case editor of the Harvard Law Review. Following law school, he served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958.
