Matt Rosenberg is a counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Group. His practice focuses on the IP and technology-related issues in complex and multi-jurisdictional transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and spinoffs. He also regularly represents clients on IP licensing and sales, technology development and AI governance-related matters. Matt advises clients in a wide range of industries, including artificial intelligence, software, semiconductors, blockchain, telecommunications, sports, healthcare, financial services and consumer brands.

Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Matt’s recent experience includes advising:

  • JPMorgan Chase in building its legal governance framework for AI-related technology
  • BlackBerry in its $900 million sale of substantially all of its non-core patents and patent applications to Malikie Innovations, a subsidiary of Key Patent Innovations
  • DISH Network in its acquisitions of Republic Wireless and Ting Mobile and numerous other strategic transactions and investments to build out and deploy its wireless network
