Caroline Inker is a counsel in the firm’s Tax Department. She advises on a broad range of U.K. and international corporate, financing and structuring transactions with a particular focus on the financial sector, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, restructurings and other corporate transactions.

Some of Caroline’s most recent experience includes:

  • CK Hutchison on the €10 billion sale of its large portfolio of telecommunications towers assets in Europe to Cellnex
  • Altaris Capital Partners on its acquisition of Johnson Matthey’s health division
  • Ardian Infrastructure on its $575 million acquisition of Verne Global
  • CK Infrastructure on the disposal of a 25% interest in Northumbria Water to KKR
  • PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrators and liquidators in relation to the global insolvency of the Lehman group
  • Cerberus in relation to the tax structuring and implementation of a series of highly complex securitisation refinancings and restructurings
  • Green Investment Group (part of Macquarie) on the sale of interests in four UK energy from waste facilities to EQT
  • Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on the acquisition of the Memora Group
  • A leading financial institution on the purchase of a $1.6 billion stake in an offshore windfarm
