Of counsel in the Corporate Department, Albert P. Hand has focused his practice on the mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. For the past 15 years, much of his activity in these areas has involved the insurance industry. He is the former chairman of the firm's Insurance Practice Group and has regularly represented United States, Bermuda, Swiss and English insurance companies in their mergers and acquisitions and financing activities. He has also represented several prominent investment firms that specialize in insurance acquisitions.

Mr. Hand is a featured lecturer to industry groups on insurance company mergers and acquisitions.
