John’s representative experience includes:
- Diamond Sports Group, the nation’s largest owner of regional sports networks, in its successful chapter 11 cases filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. The company emerged as Main Street Sports Group, with its outstanding debt trimmed from nearly $9 billion to $200 million
- An ad hoc group of convertible noteholders of DISH Network, in connection with a $5.1 billion new money spectrum bond financing for EchoStar and a $4.9 billion exchange into new spectrum bonds of EchoStar
- An ad hoc group of convertible noteholders in connection with an out-of-court recapitalization and restructuring of Maxeon Solar Technologies, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of premium solar power technology
- Citibank in its capacity as agent and revolving lender to Rodan & Fields, a producer of cosmetics and personal care products, in an out-of-court restructuring
- Pinegrove Capital Partners in its acquisition of SVB Capital as part of the chapter 11 cases of SVB Financial Group
- Rackspace Technology, a leading end-to-end hybrid, multicloud and AI solutions company, in a private debt exchange that eliminated more than $375 million of net debt, secured $275 million in new first lien first out financing, and extended the maturity of its revolving credit facility and other participating senior debt facilities
- Shutterfly, a leading e-commerce company for personalized products and custom design, in its out-of-court refinancing and exchange offer transactions
