Bathi Sheriffdeen is a counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Bathi specializes in advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in large-scale and middle-market merger and acquisition transactions, including leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, divestitures, divisional carve-outs, auction processes, leveraged recapitalizations, capital restructurings, and majority and minority investments.

Bathi has advised clients in various industries, including technology, healthcare, real estate and financial services. He has also counseled private equity funds and corporate clients on matters related to corporate governance, securities law compliance and equity arrangements.

In law school, Bathi served as an associate managing editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Religion and as a research assistant to Rutgers Board of Governors Professor of Law Roger S. Clark.
