Corporate partner Tom Levine spoke with TMT Finance for the publication’s European Market Sentiment Report 2026, which forecasts European digital infrastructure and M&A financing for the coming year based on a survey of senior executives. The growth in private credit and infrastructure direct lending, coming at a time of increased appetite for digital infrastructure investment, has led to a more varied financing landscape in Europe, he notes.
“There is a lot more private capital around than there used to be,” Tom says. “That move from public markets to private sources of capital has allowed deployers of private capital to become much more differentiated – they can deploy all the different kinds of capital.”
