Corporate partner Scott Barshay was quoted in a Financial Times article discussing the record-breaking pace of global dealmaking, which reached $2.5 trillion in the first half of 2018. “The M&A market has continued to be extremely robust in the first half of 2018 and current indications point to that continuing into the second half of the year,” Scott noted in the article, adding that the prospect “of trade wars and interest rate hikes and increasing concerns over equity valuations are major risks.”
