Corporate partner Scott Barshay appeared in an article in Bloomberg News examining the reasons behind soaring dealmaking activity in the first three months of 2021. In the March 31 article, “Dealmaking Booms in Hottest First-Quarter Start for Two Decades,” Scott noted that renewed optimism is helping drive many transactions, with particular strength in the industrial sector, as corporate leaders anticipate that “everyone will be back to work in a normalized way by the end of the year, and they will be helped by the fiscal stimulus,” Scott said.
