Kyle Seifried Discusses Dealmaking Successes and Challenges in New York Law Journal Q&A

Corporate partner Kyle Seifried participated in a Q&A with the New York Law Journal to celebrate his 2022 “Dealmaker of the Year” recognition, part of the publication’s New York Legal Awards.

In the interview, published on October 4, Kyle discusses his recent success representing Qualcomm alongside SSW Partners in its $4.5 billion acquisition of Veoneer, recent challenges in the deals market and the qualities that make a great dealmaker.

“Great dealmakers go above and beyond,” Kyle says. “They are great listeners; they proactively engage with their clients, to gain a deep understanding of their client’s business, strategic goals and appetite for risk—as well as the details of a prospective deal—and they leverage that understanding to facilitate outcomes and develop solutions uniquely tailored to the client’s needs.”
