Corporate partner Krishna Veeraraghavan spoke with the Financial Times about signs of optimism for dealmaking as we head into the third quarter of 2023. In “Bankers’ fees plunge to near-decade low owing to deal drought,” published on June 30, Krishna notes that the upcoming presidential election year is a wild card when it comes to appetite for dealmaking.
“We’re heading into an election year and it’s never clear in those periods of time how that impacts dealmaking or not,” Krishna says.
