Restructuring partners Elizabeth McColm and Brian Bolin and associate Mitchell Mengden co-wrote a chapter in the Americas Restructuring Review 2025, published by Global Restructuring Review. The chapter, “Investment Fund Activity in U.S. Debt Restructurings,” examines the role private equity and hedge funds have come to play in U.S. debt restructurings and the variety of investment strategies they deploy in distressed situations, including in connection with pre-negotiated and pre-packaged chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
The Americas Restructuring Review is an annual publication of restructuring industry insights and thought leadership from across the region.
