Corporate partner Bosco Yiu discussed the expected recovery in 2023 of international initial public offerings from China with The Wall Street Journal. In “Chinese IPOs Set to Return Outside the Mainland, One Step at a Time,” published on December 26, he notes that the recovery will likely be gradual and that the bulk of the activity may not come until later in the new year.
“If these are the good-quality, big-value IPOs, I don’t think they would rush into that first glimpse of rebound,” Bosco says. “They would rather price it better than rush into a first-quarter listing.”
