Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Deidre Kalenderian has joined the firm in New York as a partner in the Executive Compensation Department. Kalenderian advises private equity sponsors and companies on the executive compensation and benefits aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions.

“Deidre brings deep experience advising on the executive compensation matters of complex private equity transactions,” said Jean McLoughlin, co-head of Paul, Weiss’s Executive Compensation Department. “She will be a strong addition to our team and will help enhance our department’s offering and capabilities.”

Kalenderian advises private equity sponsors and companies on the executive compensation and benefit aspects of day-to-day operations and transactions, including M&A, restructurings, divestitures, spin-offs, carve-outs, IPOs and more. Her practice encompasses the structuring, negotiation and implementation of employment, severance, change-in-control, deferred compensation and equity-based incentive arrangements, and related securities, accounting, tax and governance matters.

Kalenderian's notable representations include advising GTCR in its acquisition of a majority stake in Worldpay; Hellman & Friedman in its acquisition, alongside Bain Capital, of athenahealth; Crescent Point Capital on Ares Management Corporation’s acquisition of the Crescent Point Capital platform; and WeWork and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases.

Kalenderian earned a B.A. from Syracuse University, summa cum laude, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
