Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Rachel Phillips has joined the firm as a partner in the Capital Markets Group within the Corporate Department, resident in New York. Phillips advises public companies, private equity sponsors and underwriters on a range of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
“Rachel is an accomplished capital markets lawyer with deep experience advising companies on some of the most significant and complex transactions in the market,” said Angelo Bonvino, global head of the Corporate Department at Paul, Weiss. “We are pleased to welcome her to the firm.”

Phillips has represented a diverse client base, including public company issuers, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, underwriters, and selling shareholders on transactions ranging from large-scale cross-border IPOs to registered direct offerings.
Phillips has been recognized by Legal 500 and IFLR1000 for her capital markets work since 2023. She earned an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Review of Banking and Financial Law.
