Laura Turano Co-Chairs Panel on Governance and Shareholder Activism at IBA M&A Conference

Corporate partner Laura Turano co-chaired a panel, “Governance, stewardship and activism,” as part of the International Bar Association’s 21st Annual International Mergers & Acquisitions Conference in New York on June 5. The panel discussed the role and perspectives of institutional investors; shareholder activism; ESG and stakeholderism; and the headwinds and tailwinds for sustainability and long-term investment, both in the U.S. and globally.
