John Carlin to Discuss SEC’s New Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules at ACI Webinar

Cybersecurity & Data Protection Group Co-Chair John Carlin will participate in a webinar, “Preparing for the SEC Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules,” hosted by the American Conference Institute. The webinar will explore the SEC’s new reporting requirements around material cybersecurity incidents, set to take effect on December 18, including the regulator’s filing expectations; what constitutes a “material” cybersecurity incident; and how to assess the effects, costs and next steps in a cyber breach, among other topics.

The webinar will take place on December 6 at 1 p.m. ET.
