Corporate partner Jim Langston will participate in the Northwestern University School of Law 45th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate & Securities Law Institute, which provides private practitioners and corporate counsel with a timely analysis of current securities and corporate law developments confronting publicly and privately held corporations. Jim’s panel, “Shareholder Activism,” will cover a market overview of activism in the United States and explore recent trends in shareholder activism, company preparedness and the differences between corporate short-seller attacks and the actions of long activist investors.
Jim’s panel will take place in Chicago on October 9 at 4 p.m. CT, and will be available virtually until November 8.
