Corporate partner Brian Lavin and antitrust partner Scott Sher will each participate in a panel at the Corporate Dealmakers Conference hosted by Information Management Network. Brian’s panel—“What’s Going on in the PE World, and How Are Deals Getting Financed?”— will cover how private equity financing deals are adapting to a higher interest rate environment; the future of PE as an industry; and nontraditional finance structures, among other topics. Scott will participate in “Antitrust Considerations in M&A Deals,” which will discuss the current antitrust environment; how companies can prepare for increased Hart-Scott-Rodino Act scrutiny by regulators; and the use of preemptive measures like divestitures to mitigate potential antitrust regulatory concerns, among other areas.

The Corporate Dealmakers Conference brings together senior corporate executives; M&A advisors; sustainability executives; and private equity, hedge fund and other institutional investors explore pertinent topics relevant to M&A recovery.

Brian’s and Scott’s panels will take place in New York City on June 4 at 10:30 a.m. ET and 2 p.m. ET, respectively. Paul, Weiss is a sponsor of this event.
