VTG to Sell UK Freight Rail Business to USS Pension Fund

Paul, Weiss is advising VTG GmbH on the carve-out, technology and antitrust aspects of its sale of all of its shares in VTG Rail UK Ltd, a leading railcar leasing business serving the UK rail freight market, to Universities Superannuation Scheme, one of the UK’s largest pension funds. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
