Polaris to Separate Indian Motorcycle Into a Standalone Company, Sell Majority Stake to Carolwood LP

Paul, Weiss is advising Polaris Inc., the global leader in powersports, on the separation of Indian Motorcycle into a standalone business and the sale of a majority stake in the new company to private equity firm Carolwood LP. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subjects to customary closing conditions. Financial details were not disclosed.
