Paul, Weiss Participates in Clean Slate Petition Drafting Clinic

Paul, Weiss, in partnership with The Access Project and the Rising Scholars Network, prepared clean slate documents for system-impacted community college students across California. Rising Scholars is a program of the California Community College system that provides post-secondary education support to incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and other system-impacted students. Work included drafting petition declarations and supporting exhibits. These limited-scope representations will substantially help these individuals receive a second chance under the state’s record-clearance laws.

The Paul, Weiss team included associates Jessica Del Castillo, Erika Hoglund, Joan Komolafe, Kelsey Peden, Kate Serota, Alex Serrurier and Russell Wirth. The team was supervised by partners Caroline Epstein, Bianca Levin-Soler, Randy Luskey and Jonathan Tam and counsel Marc Price Wolf.
