Jollibee Foods Acquires Majority Stake in Smashburger

Paul, Weiss is representing Smashburger Master LLC in Jollibee Foods Corporation’s acquisition of an additional 45 percent stake in Smashburger, bringing Jollibee’s ownership stake in Smashburger to 85 percent. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Paul, Weiss team included, among others, corporate partners Ted Ackerman and Carl Reisner; and tax partner Brad Okun.
