Gemspring Capital Portfolio Company Shrieve Acquires Clear Solutions

Paul, Weiss advised Texas-based Shrieve Chemical Company, LLC, a global chemical distributor and supplier and portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, on its acquisition of Clear Solutions International Ltd., a UK-based developer and manufacturer of proprietary water-based drilling fluid systems. The transaction marks Shrieve’s second UK acquisition this year, following its acquisition of Scotland-headquartered FIS Chemicals. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
