Gemspring Capital Portfolio Company Shrieve Acquires Chemical Manufacturing Business FIS Chemicals

Paul, Weiss advised Texas-based Shrieve Chemical Company, LLC, a global chemical distributor and supplier, and a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, on its acquisition of Scotland-headquartered chemical manufacturing business FIS Chemicals Ltd.

The deal is the second for Shrieve’s European chemicals platform, following its 2025 acquisition of Ireland-based Carbon Chemicals Group Ltd, and continues Shrieve’s expansion into the European market.

The Paul, Weiss team was led by corporate partner Christopher Sullivan and included partner Taner Hassan; tax partners Cian O’Connor and Rohit Pisal; and antitrust partner Ross Ferguson.
