Paul, Weiss advised D-Wave Systems Inc. a leader in quantum computing systems, software and services headquartered in British Columbia, in its $1.2 billion business combination with DPCM Capital, Inc., a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). Upon completion of the transaction, D-Wave Quantum Inc. became the parent company of DPCM Capital and D-Wave Systems. D-Wave’s common shares and warrants began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on August 8.
