Boingo Wireless to Be Acquired by Digital Colony Management

Paul, Weiss is representing TAP Advisors as financial advisor to Boingo Wireless, Inc. in Boingo’s sale to an affiliate of Digital Colony Management, LLC. Upon closing, Boingo, a leading distributed antenna system and Wi-Fi provider, will transition from a public company to a privately held company.

Under the terms of the transaction, Digital Colony will acquire all the outstanding shares of Boingo common stock in a transaction valued at approximately $854 million, including the assumption of $199 million of Boingo’s net debt obligations. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
