APi Group to Acquire European Fire Protection Company Wtech

Paul, Weiss is advising U.S.-based APi Group Corporation, a leading global provider of fire and life safety, security, elevator, escalator and specialty services, on its acquisition of Ireland-based Wtech Fire Group, a comprehensive provider of fire protection, suppression and detection solutions across Europe. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Paul, Weiss team is led by corporate partner Will Aitken-Davies and includes partner Dotun Obadina and antitrust partner Lauren O’Brien.
