American Tower to Acquire Eaton Towers in $1.85 Billion Deal

Paul, Weiss is representing American Tower Corporation in its $1.85 billion acquisition of Eaton Towers Holdings Limited, which owns and operates approximately 5,400 communications sites across five African markets (Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Niger and Burkina Faso). As a result of the transaction, American Tower also expects to accelerate new build activity across the region due to expanded relationships with multiple key tenants. American Tower, one of the largest global REITs, is a leading independent owner, operator and developer of multitenant communications real estate with a portfolio of over 170,000 communications sites.
