LatinFinance named Paul, Weiss the winner of the “Infrastructure Deal of the Year: Mexico” category in its annual Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards. The firm was recognized for its work advising Allianz Global Investors in connection with global water and energy utility company Cox’s $4 billion acquisition of Iberdrola México, the Mexican subsidiary of global electric utility company Iberdrola, S.A. The Paul, Weiss team on this transaction was led by corporate partner Leticia Ossa Daza.
The annual awards recognize industry achievements that propel the development and advancement of vital projects across Latin America. Winners were announced at a ceremony on October 1.
