Paul, Weiss will be recognized by The M&A Advisor in three categories in the publication’s 17th Annual Turnaround Awards. The firm will be honored in the “Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year” category for its work advising an ad hoc committee of unsecured noteholders in Mallinckrodt’s reorganization plan; in the “Restructuring of the Year (Over $10B)” category for advising an ad hoc group of company noteholders in the chapter 11 cases of Intelsat S.A.; and in the “Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year (Over $1B)” category for advising Azorra Aviation in its acquisition and recapitalization of certain aircraft owning silos of Nordic Aviation Capital pursuant to a prearranged chapter 11 plan process.
The M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards annually recognize the leading transactions, firms and individuals that set the benchmark for excellence in the restructuring and distressed investing industry. Winners will be announced at an awards gala in Florida on March 22.
