Paul, Weiss is shortlisted in seven categories in Asian Legal Business’s 2023 Japan Law Awards, which pay tribute to the outstanding performance of law firms, teams and practitioners in Japan over the past year. The firm is a finalist for “Japan Law Firm of the Year”; “Banking and Financial Services Law Firm of the Year”; “Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year”; “International Deal Firm of the Year” and “Private Equity Law Firm of the Year.”
Additionally, the firm’s role advising MUFG Bank Ltd. in a senior notes offering is a contender for “Debt Market Deal of the Year,” and corporate partner Tong Yu is shortlisted for “Dealmaker of the Year.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Tokyo on June 8.
