Paul, Weiss was shortlisted in four categories in the International Financial Law Review’s 2023 Asia-Pacific Awards, which recognize legal innovation in cross-border transactions that closed during the past year. Corporate partner Judie Ng Shortell is a finalist in the “Women Dealmakers Hall of Fame” category.
The firm was shortlisted twice in the “Private Equity Deals of the Year” category for advising a DCP Capital Partners-led group of investors in their take-private acquisition of 51job, Inc.; and advising Baring Private Equity Asia in its sale to EQT. The firm is also a finalist in the “Private Equity Team of the Year” category.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on March 22.
