Paul, Weiss was named a finalist 10 times across various categories in The M&A Advisor’s 22nd Annual M&A Advisor Awards, which recognize outstanding transactions, deal teams and professionals from the past year. Corporate partner Ted Ackerman is shortlisted for The M&A Advisor’s “Legal Advisor of the Year” award.
The firm is shortlisted for our role advising General Atlantic in its consortium acquisition of PANTHERx Rare in three categories: “M&A Deal of the Year (Between ($1B - $5B)”; “Private Equity Deal of the Year (Over $1B)”; and “Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year (Over $500 MM).” The firm is also shortlisted for our role advising Golden Gate Capital in its investment in Parallel Advisors, LLC in four categories: “Equity Financing of the Year”; “Private Equity Deal of the Year (Between $250 MM - $1B)”; “Restructuring Deal of the Year (Between $250 MM - $1B)”; and “M&A Deal of the Year (Between $250 MM - $500 MM).”
Additionally, the firm is shortlisted in two categories for our role providing special financing and employee compensation counsel in Lumileds’ chapter 11 filing: “Restructuring Deal of the Year (Over $1B)” and “Industrials Deal of the Year (Over $250 MM).”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in New York on November 15.
