The Los Angeles Business Journal named Paul, Weiss a “Deal of the Year” finalist in the Journal’s inaugural M&A Awards, which honor the transactions and professionals shaping Southern California’s dealmaking landscape. The firm was shortlisted for its work advising global investment firm 3G Capital on its $9 billion acquisition of Skechers U.S.A., Inc, led by corporate partners Laura Turano, Dotun Obadina and Scott Barshay. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on September 11.
