Litigation counsel Karen King received this year’s Thurgood Marshall Award for Exceptional Pro Bono Service, awarded by the Federal Bar Council in recognition and celebration of lawyers in private practice who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to pro bono legal service, and who have provided pro bono service in federal courts or agencies within the Second Circuit. Karen was presented with the award (in the “Veteran” category) at the 16th Annual Federal Bar Council Summer Kick-Off event on June 25 in New York City.
