Corporate partner Judie Ng Shortell was named one of Asian Legal Business’s “Dealmakers of Asia 2022” in the China – International Firms category. The list recognizes the top corporate lawyers in Asia each year who “overcome challenges to deliver deals for their clients.” The publication, affiliated with Thomson Reuters, considered Judie’s representation of China-based utilities company State Grid International Development Limited in its approximately $3.04 billion acquisition of Compania General de Electricidad S.A. from Naturgy Energy Group S.A., and leading mobile transportation platform Didi Chuxing Technology Co. in the carve-out and subsequent fundraising of its freight business Didi Freight, among other transactions.
