Paul, Weiss Shortlisted Across Eight Categories in The American Lawyer’s 2026 Industry Awards

The American Lawyer named Paul, Weiss a finalist across eight categories in its annual Industry Awards. The firm is shortlisted for Corporate Practice of the Year: General and Corporate Practice of the Year: Energy; Best Client Law Firm Team, recognizing the firm’s client value initiative with IBM; Best Provider Collaboration, alongside co-counsel, for a trial win on behalf of ExxonMobil; and Best Use of Technology and Legal Services Innovation, recognizing the work of the firm’s Information Systems and Discovery & Data Intelligence teams. In the individual categories, corporate partner Jim Langston is shortlisted for Best Law Firm Corporate Lawyer of the Year (M&A and Private Equity) and corporate partner Stan Richards is shortlisted for Young Lawyer of the Year (Corporate).

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 12.
